The Lakes of southeastern Alberta continue to produce good pike and walleye fishing this year. With the future rain and wind in the forecast, the lakes may be a little rough and tough this weekend. If you are still planning on giving it a shot. The fish are still feeding aggressively, look for weed beds and quick drop-offs.

Work lighter, flashy flies when it is very bright out, dark flies tend to be more productive in the evenings or if it is cloudy out.

Just a reminder if you are planning on hitting up any of the lakes that reside in the EID zone make sure to get your boat inspected and stickered before you head to the lake.
