Elk River Dryfly Muncher

Elk River Dryfly Muncher

Unfortunately, the recent rain has blown the elk out, it has been running high and muddy for the last couple days. With minimal rain in the upcoming forecast, the elk should return to more productive fishing visibility by the weekend. If you are looking to head down to the Elk this weekend. Starting the day off with nymphs have proven to be more productive, as the water temperatures are colder earlier in the day. Closer to noon the fish should start to become more active and start looking for those tasty dry flies.
